Transparency Management & Corporate Accountability (Presentation)

This presentation was given by Mark W. McElroy at a meeting of the San Jose, CA chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors on May 16, 2003. In addition to declaring the advent of a new management discipline ('Transparency Management'), McElroy's presentation illustrated the unique role that KM can play in helping organizations to guard against corporate corruption and malfeasance, and to also enhance the quality of governance by managing the degree of openness found in business processes and related business information. This session also constituted the first public presentation of Macroinnovation's Openness Audit (tm) framework in a live setting, including discussion of its Transparency Audit (tm) component.
