"Second-Generation KM (Presentation)"

This presentation was given by Mark W. McElroy at the KM World event at the Santa Clara Convention Center on October 30, 2001. It includes a comparison of first- versus second-generation thinking in KM, and also provides a framework for the development of KM strategies. Ten key principles behind second-generation KM are highlighted by McElroy, as well as the relationship between second-generation thinking and the industry-standard reference model for KM developed by the Knowledge Management Consortium International (KMCI).
