"The KMCI Knowledge Life Cycle Model (Graphic/Slide)"

This knowledge management reference model was developed by members of the Knowledge Management Consortium International (KMCI) by several founding members, including Mark W. McElroy and Joseph M. Firestone. It was originally developed in 1998, but has continued to evolve ever since. Within its bounds are the two fundamental stages of social Knowledge Processing: Knowledge Production and Knowledge Integration, as well as the Business Processing Environment in which Knowledge Use occurs.
